wow. okay... So the intellect of people these days shock me. I just read a blog about Cyber goths and how pointless and "uncool" they are... well I have to say... anyone that unhappy with their lives as to go out of their way to BASH on a group of people who dress a certain way should go seek some mental help.

just because a group of people choose to dress a certain way doesn't give anyone the right to judge them or tell them otherwise. I personally like the style of cyber goths/punks. it shows that the world has variety. just because they dont look like the majority of society doesn't make them wrong. why do people wear make up? why do people dress preppy? because they have their own individual liking... and to be honest I believe that style in general is all about individuality. why do I have tattoos and piercings? hmmm I don't know... maybe its because I dont want to look like everyone else. I want to make that statement that yes I am different. I am my own person who can think and act for myself. I'm an individual that wants to veer away from what society says is right because we are NOT robots... and I refuse to act as one. I refuse to let someone take away my right to think, speak, or act.

but then again I do agree with the "to an extent" thing... to an extent.. lol. I don't agree with murderers, rapists, and crooks. but when it comes to style I dont agree with "you can't work here if you have visible tattoos" or "you have to take your piercings out before you come to work" all that is doing is trying to force us back into what society thinks is right. taking away our ability to be different. taking away our ability to express our individual personalities.

a lot of people might say "well everyone's getting tattoos these days" but I believe a tattoo (for me anyway) is like a fingerprint. I myself will not get a tattoo that someone else already has... I will draw my own tattoos. anyway that's my rant for the day I guess... will post art as soon as I have a scanner.
